My husband and I went here for dinner when we were in Amalfi for our honeymoon as recommended by our hotel’s pastry chef, Salvo. First of all, Salvo was not wrong about the view! Literally the best view there is in Amalfi! The front of the restaurant faces the beautiful Amalfi coast and the back part has views of the mountains and the local gardens. My husband and I were blown away! Secondly, the food was SO DELICIOUS! Cannot recommend this place enough! It is so worth traveling up the hill to enjoy some authentic home cooked Italian food! The service was impeccable! They would recommend the best dishes paired with wine. Honestly, the best restaurant experience we have had in Italy.

5 out of 5 for the service, Danielle took really great care of us!! Pay extra care with a frd who has lactose intolerance. Amazing experience, 100% would go back!! The best meal we had at Amalfi, Must try their mixed appetizer for two that gave you the chance to taste a little bit of everything, the octopus was really nice too.

Lovely restaurant with delicious local food and great service. My favourite dishes were the octopus and the pasta with ragù- a truly rich and filling dish. The mozzarella with tomato was slightly underwhelming. Otherwise immaculate evening with great food and wine.

Osteria/Trattoria da Rispoli is such a cute little restaurant in the foothills of Pogerola/Amafli that felt very local - the views of the Amalfi coastline from the deck where we were seated were unbelievable! The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. The food was extremely fresh and delicious! I highly recommend visiting here for a bite!

What a beautiful restaurant! Away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi lies this gorgeous family owned osteria tucked in Pogerola, next to Villa Maria. I cannot fault the amazing service, food, wine and views! Have dined here twice with two more planned visits - the food and service is impeccable! Lots of love from Australia and to our gracious hosts Motto bene!

Unreal spot!! This is a gem of a restaurant, filled with local people, serving rustic local food, family run. It feels like you’re in someone’s home, away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi and Positano. Well done Vittorio for making this restaurant really special, thank you ci vediamo a Edimburgo!

My husband and I stayed walking distance from this incredible restaurant which we were extremely happy about! The food is phenomenal and refreshingly inexpensive. We went there for dinner 2/4 nights during our stay in Amalfi. We would’ve went every night except they were booked out one night, and closed on another. The cold cuts/cheese appetizer was our favorite (the ricotta cheese is to die for!) and we loved the mussels pasta. The grilled catch of the day was sea bass - it was perfect. Don’t skip out on the bread with their olive oil..the olive oil is so rich and delicious. Along with the fantastic food, we enjoyed chatting with our waiter, Daniele. He was so kind and positive! We couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! Also, it’s worth making reservations - I did so via email and received a response quickly.

If you want to get away from the over priced touristy places, you should try this place. I chose to check it out because it was away from everything and I’m so glad I did. Feels like a real Italian experience. It has a beautiful view that I unfortunately did not get a picture of. Great place with a good relaxing energy to it. Wine, food and desserts were prefect! Ciao!
